Naturally, Koren Girls Loves The Iowa Hawkeyes

I came across this video on Black Heart Gold Pants. South Koren dance-pop band Girls' Generation, made up of nine Korean girls, recently put out their video "Oh!"

What's fascinating about the video is the nine girls, and if you're curious their names are Taeyeon, Jessica, Sunny, Tiffany, Hyoyeon, Yuri, Sooyoung, Yoona and Seohyun, are dancing around in less that requisite attire for a States Dinner, and playing with a helmet from my beloved Iowa Hawkeyes.

It was only a matter of time before our popularity spread to the Koreas. Next stop, Thailand.

Video to appear after the screen shots, also from Black Heart Gold Pants:

You have no idea how much this made my day. And it has nothing to do with anything perverted I swear. Go Hawkeyes.

  1. Whatever. Oh! isn't Tchaikovsky Symphony No. 2 in C minor, Op. 17. But the song IS catchy. Listen to it like 2-3 times and you will be hooked.

It's a pretty good song. Just because you don't like dance-pop doesn't mean it's bad music.

  2. If the South Korean girls were dancing around with an Iowa State or Minnesota helmet you'd think the song was shit.

  3. I would only feel that way if they used a Wisconsin helmet as a prop.
